i tried one that i found on mess.be but it didnt work is there any more out there that works?

This colour changer doesn't works with my messenger too.
If somebody could make a software which is compatible with MSN 6.0.0503 that would be brilliant :D, the colors by defect are horrible!
My english is horrible sorry

i use this...

*remember!! when u choose ur favorite color. then click "Save".
- exit msn messenger 6 (@ ur taskbar)
- and open again

...it works with msn 6...

alot of colour changes work with MSN Messenger 6, because MSN Messenger 5 uses the same registery keys as MSN Messenger 5

You need to sign out and sign in again to see the changed color.  Almost all the programs that work for msn 5 will also work for msn 6.
