As Opera 7.60 has irc support (via Messages > Manage Accounts > New > irc (Chat)), is it possible, and if, how, to use Opera to access irc.msgplus.net ?

chat > new account > [enter your name and e-mail] > Next > [enter your nick] > Next > [type in "irc.msgplus.net" without the quotes] > Finish

Next, press F4 to bring up hot list, choose the IRC panel, Right click on irc.msgplus.net and click online, global will talk with you, type /join #msgplus and send it, then you will join #msgplus. From then on you can just directly click on msgplus to automatically join the network.

It didn't work because I didn't enter something when it asked for name and email.
