I thinks there isn't anything to be updated from 2.50 to 2.52. In fact, the thing that changes is the codes for multiformat nicks, and you can put /nick with the old codes and plus changes them automaticly.

Ok, sorry, I understood it wrong.

So, did Patchou added that function to parse and clear all the control chars from the nicks?

Well as you can see, I write my plugin in VB...
But I think many people will enjoy the function as far as it's coded in C too
