To my knowledge...

As soon as you edit your message it puts the edit thing up on when you edited it.

It should be changed...

It should only say it's been edited after another user has viewed it.

Why does it matter if you've edited it if no-one has seen it yet???

That would suppose too much load to the server.

if a tree falls in the woods, does it make a sound??? or should it only make a sound if someone saw it standing up???

, Yeah, I see your points.  But then when people would attach a pic then edit it and add the img url it wouldn't show the edit if no-one has seen it yet.  I thought it was a good ieda.

When WDZ upgrades these forums to RC2, you'll have a nice [attachment­] tag that will be replaced by the url of the attachment, so people will be able to put [img­][attachment­][/img­] and there won't be any need to edit.

Also, when people edits to do that now, they edit just before posting, and you can see the date & time of that, so you can know if you have read the post before/after the edit was done.

I think when I tree falls and noone sees it, it doesn't make any sound. (has anyone heard it? )
