What do you guys think of the movie, "I,ROBOT", comming out in July? Do you think what happens could actually happen in real life? Let's hear what u think. (I mean both Humans having personal Robots, and them turning on Humans ) I saw a commercial (I guess the "teaser") on tv a while back, for the NS5 or w/e it's called ...I thought it was just some kind of joke, but it was a movie promo

Here's a screenshot of the site, in the images section. This shows a good image of the one of the robots in "I,ROBOT" which is 100% computer generated. w0000000t! That looks really good for a computer generated model!

It's stealing most of the story from the matrix though really

Well I agree that it is going to be a must see But there are 2 reasons it COULD NOT have stolen the Matrix Storyline
1) Takes place in the real world
2) THE BOOK CAME OUT A LONG TIME BEFORE THE MATRIX DID!

But maybe they wouldn't have made a feature film about it if it hadn't been for the matrix   All stories have their doubles somewhere

Well I guess that's true...but still

Anyways, upon further thought, I have realised that it IS possible for us to have robots like that within the next 30 or 40 years...I mean consider this, 30 years ago they never thought technology would get this far (IE 4.0 GhZ PCs). We already have ACIBO as the walking part, an AI secratary, a robot thing that can give expressions...put them together...do further re-seach...perfect the AI and voice controls....and there you have it....AI robots....kinda scary really....machines that think for themselves, and have bodies to do what they wish with

Bah, it doesn't look very good in that pic... a little... unreal... SW digital work is far better
Well, maybe it's worth seeing it anyway.

Well keep in mind, KeyStorm, this is an early rendering, they are not done editing the Robots...but also, in the trailer, they move very realisticly...I think it will be worth seeing
