Not likely... CNN theoretically spoke to a high manager at Google and they confirmed the news, and said it wasn't an April Fools joke, however they might be joking too (story at cnn.com).

And web alerts was not launched yesterday, it was launched at least a month ago

and personalized search is a few days old.


google doesn't launch fake services for april fools pranks. they talk about pigeons (someone else find the link).

this seems real, but who really cares?
