I got to the idea of having an Extended Quoting System implemented (apart from the quick quote).
It would be the following:

- A "quote"-button in each posts-digest post on the reply-page.
- It would open a little/medium window with the raw code of that post.
- Selecting a piece of raw text and clicking "Quote this" would quote the selected raw text and include the author in the quote-tag and close the window.

I know it may be kinda stressing to implement but it would offer better quoting capabilities imo.

(Maybe I should get to myBB, become a member and start doing requests )

Keystorm is like the master of suggesting forum ideas. Anyway I like the idea

I hate trying to quote somebody and I can't get their formating options or emoticons

When I was adding Quick Quote, I considered adding it to the "thread review" on the reply page too, and thought how cool it would be, but then I got lazy...

The popup with the raw code is a nice idea. But if I added it there, you would probably make me add it in showthread too... So you can always quote formatting/emoticons...

No, that's the sense of quick quote. you may quickly quote, but it has its disadvantages

Yeah, that was the name (not "post-digest" ).

I love the idea! I hate it when I need/want to quote >1 people!
