O.P. Force messenger to load with Plus
So that Plus! doesn't have to be loaded in the memory all the time, is there anyway to only start it up when msn messenger is loaded and exit when it's not being used?

Or instead can Plus! force msn messenger to start up whenever it's started? ^o)

You could add it in the shortcut.. to load it with MSN that is.
To unload it, erm, plugin maybe ?

RE: Force messenger to load with Plus
It is recommended to let Plus! load when Windows starts. The amount of memory Plus! uses when it's not active is very, very small (even less than the 2 MB often shown in the Task Manager).

There is, however, the /AutoStart parameter you could use.
Make a new shortcut to fullpath\msgplus.exe /AutoStart (replacing fullpath with the full path to the program, i.e. C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3 for a default installation).

This is an undocumented feature, and you'll have to experiment yourself with what it does and so on. Do not expect full support for it :)

If you use the quick launch bar to open MSN Messenger I can make a small app that you can click on and will open Plus! then MSN Messenger when you want

The other thing is Plus! uses very little memory abuot 300k when MSN Messenger is not running
