Hello,

i installed msn6.2 and i was running MsgPlus 2.5.4 succcesfully, now i decided to install the new MsgPlus3.
While installation i got this error:

I am the administartor, i have tried to install in in 3 different directories, i have restarted my computer and i used the file from 2 locations (msgplus.net too).

I am using winxp pro with sp1.

What could be wrong?

Are you the administrator on the computer? Even if you are try this

Right click on the Setup file and select Run As...
Put a Dot beside: The Following User
Select Administrator from the list > If its not in the drop down list type it in.
The password should be blank unless its been changed (probably not tho)

If i try to do that i get this error:
(its in dutch, as i am)


roughly translated:
"Cannot run the service because it has been disabled ot because it has no active/swiched on devices connected with it."

That's a Windows errormessage (not a MsgPlus error), which, if I may add, is very strange. I think this one calls for Patchou...

It's  proberly my acting up again...
I needed to format it sometime anyways, ill guess ill do that now..
