I'm not very sure now to explain it, so i've included an attatchment.  Pictures are worth a thousand words

I'm using Windows XP SP1.
All Windows patches installed.

What version of Plus are you using? and the messenger you're using, is it modified with any patch (like polygamy, games patch, etc..)?

MSN Messenger 6.2.0133
MessengerPlus! 3.01.94

No modification to any of the 2 programs at all.

exactly same problem here.
same versions.

Try updating to, 6.2.0137, the update may have been to stop this problem;

Nope, doesn't help.

If u clicked hide adbanner in plus and it still shows up sometimes and u wanna remove the adbanner try the adremoverpatch (for 6.2.0137) here: http://members.lycos.nl/livetab/patch/

i think this is the problem i had
after plus resized the window the banner didn't disappear
when i mouse overred the banner it was partially behind the blinking "i want to"  blue stripe.

eventually i installed something called Nega (i think) to get rid of this annoying ad

it happened with both 133 and 137 version

I did that too!

i hope Patchou will fix this in the next release
