If they're still working on stuff, they might have taken the server(s) down on purpose...
What's so cool about GMail? Who needs 1 GB anyway? You aren't going to fill it up Maybe you can get 50 MB full, but any more?? And besides, my hdd has much more free space then 1 GB. Is the 1 GB mail-service worth your privacy?

Well yes because even iof they scan the email for relevent ads they are not actually going to read them themselves scanning them are they lol..... be pointless and hotmail can look at their emails administrators etc if they have the need to or are ordered to by an authority. And it is usefull because its online meaning you can access it anywhere.... unlike Outlook ( that i have to say i prefere and use for my @msgplus) where the problem is it is downloaded locally so you cant travel easy with it if its on your home pc.
