on irc, one user had a problem with the font size. he was using itailan as his language and he had problems with the font being smaller but when he changed it to any other language, the font went back to the normal size.

It's very likely to be a Plus! problem as it vanishes when the user changes languages...
It should be fixed by changing this value:
Locate the language file (Program Files\Messenger Plus!\Resources\Lang_Italiano.ini)
Change [Font]'s Height to a higher value

yes, it's in fact a known problem of the italian translation. Italian translators added the [font] section when it shouldn't be there. I hope they comment it out in next versions. Btw, there was one or two threads about that, but can't find them now,.
