Hi,

If I export my settings (using the save/load link, with all the options checked) in the latest version of Messenger Plus and import the file on another computer, then my custom contact names are not there. Is there another way to export custom contact names in Messenger Plus 3.01.94?

I've tried checking 'display custom contact names' in the contact list options before importing the data file, but that doesn't help either. Any other way to do this?

You want to make sure all boxes are checked. And on the other computer you may need to enable Custom Names. But keep in mind Custom Names only work with MSN Messenger 6.0 and above because it needs the View By Email address feature.

I checked all the boxes and I also tried to enable Custom Names before importing the data file, but it didn't work. I use MSN Messenger 6.2.

Ok, when you opened the Preferences Panel where the custom names not there? Like Bob@bob.com Custom Name Bob

No, they were not there.
