Does anyone know how to change the standard signin twirling messenger poppets? I used Reshacker to replace the animated gif for another one -that worked- but that doesn't seems to work when messenger is starting up again.
I hope you know the answer. Thx

Did you update to the newest version of Messenger after doing so?

Did you change the entire animated file or just one frame?

I believe there's a signin_ani.gif and a signin animation in png format..not sure why there's one in .gif format as .png's the only one that seems to matter..(i think, cause that's the only one I change)

I hope you have a usefull tip how to change the png. cause that's only hexadecimal abacadabra for me.

Save it as binary and then rename it to <name>.png and it should be a normal working png file.

Yes I know how te replace a PNG file, but not how to EDIT or change it. Please tell me what I need or what I must do.

PNG is just another image format like there are so many (GIF, JPG, BMP, TIF, etc... etc...)

You need a paintprogram to edit graphics....

Maybe I'm not specific enough. The PNG file i want to change (see above) is all hexadecimal. I just don't no how to edit. The PNG I mean is not a graphic.

ermmmm..... A PNG is a PNG... and that's a graphic.... otherwise it isn't a PNG....
Every file on every computer with every operating system contains "hexadecimal characters"....

"Hexadecimal characters" is just a way for showing the bytes of which every file consists of (even a plain textfiles can be viewed in a hexadecimal way)....

Like I said, open the PNG with a paintprogram...
