i don't know about Openconvo anyway i use the DjMystic's Notifier and it works perfectly both on open/closed windows. I use messenger 6.2 and Windows Xp Prof.

Is stuffplug-ng already available? if yes, where can i find it?

at the moment works fine for me... it's not very practical but we'll have to put up with it
