i got some ideas for plugins...
i hope they r posible..

1 a plugin to choose a different IM sound:
   its can be used to change the IM sound for certain contacts only.. it can be used for some situations like when the person is busy around of playing a full-screen game... so S/he would know whos msging him without stop what they r doing..

2 a plugin to use custom emotion in the nick name..

3 a plugin {or whatever} to disable the 5 custom emotion per instant msg  limit...

4 a plugin to set a different auto-msg for certaind contacts or groups..

thats it for now...

This can't be done. This works with the protocole (however you spell it) works. And messin around with this is illegal and plus I will cost money.

1. Possible, but someone must be willing to do it...
2. Microsoft didn't allow it, so there's no point trying.
3. That would use lots of bandwidth if someone is flooding you, so it's not recommended.
4. Again, someone must be willing to do it

y doesnt microsoft allow it.. i dont uderstand whats the big deal ..

That is why you don't work for Microsoft.

The messenger protocol doesn't allow it, so it can't be done...

it allows it, but you'd have to open a convo with everyone and send each emoticon each time over and over... and when being flooded =/
