O.P. should microsoft update mac messenger?

microsoft isnt a mac company, so i think the mac users should be happy with what they get. i mean, microsoft makes software for pc's! not for mac! mabey apple should do something :^)

. i look at the mac version of messenger. it looks cool. belive me, most of the ordinary users of MSN Messenger, dont really care for the display pics, or games, all they want is a way to chat with people...the mac version does that!

I would like them updating it because it quite doesn't have sense having two own products mutually incompatible (same would go to Windows Messenger, but Mac's MSN Messenger is at the same level as Windows' MSN Messenger).

So, I don't really care a lot because I don't use Macs, but it would be good for Messenger if they kept up with both versions at the same pace.

i have a freind who uses amsn on his g4 powerbook. it is possibly to run a windows msn client on a mac but you need some $125 software

Well, there's a misconception.

Tell this to the guys of The Macintosh Business Unit at Microsoft.
I think they won't agree.
Microsoft is even, after Apple itself, the largest softwaremaker for the Mac.
"Microsoft Office for Mac" (Word for Mac, Excel for Mac, Powerpoint for Mac) is the bestselling mac software.
