As cookieRevised suggested I open a new thread for my question:

I've read some posts about some remote controlling your pc with plus, but I didn't see a plugin that made this possible, I could be wrong....
My question is: who would be interested in a plugin that would allow you to: (all commands would require a password)
- shutdown remote pc
- get ip of remote pc (handy for people without static ip)
- remote accept file command (so you wouldn't have to mail files to a web server, but 'chat' a file to your pc )
- remote plus command sender
- remote msgbox maker (so you could alert other people (like family) using your computer
- any other suggestions?

if that remote pc is a server (ie: that there's no one using it, so you can't talk with him/her) you can put an automessage with the tag (!XIP) and install one of the (at least) 3 plugins that show the external IP. A quick search on the forums will give you the results.

2 months ago, I was tinking on how to do a plugin like that. It'd include authentication (user & pass) and then you could use messenger as a console, sending commands similar to dir, cd, copy, move, get, put, etc..., however I found a job and I have too much work to do it, so currently there's nothing done. Maybe one day I'd do it

im interested alot and i think ited be really nice to have this as a plugin as long as you could make it password protected so you gotta type in ur password so it would work it doesnt seem to hard but i dunno hopefully someone could
Edit: Acualy i tried that program posted abouve and it works great now i just gotta figure out a way to get my IP whenver i need it

www.no-ip.com to get a redirection to your IP

i think thats for getting others ip, because in plus the command (!IP) gives you your own ip address.
