changing sounds in msn messenger

O.P. changing sounds in msn messenger
how do i change the sound for "NEW MAIL"
everytime i change it and click apply then click ok, then test it it is back to the normal msn messenger sound

tools > options > general > click on sound button.
search for MSN Messenger > New Mail > click browse, search for the sound, then accept, then apply then accept accept and voilá

if that doesnt work for u, i dont know what the prob could be..

yep, it is a "known" bug in 6.2.0137. The only thing you can do is physicaly change the soundfile in the MSN Messenger directory...
