this is realli minor but i just realised that msgplus saves registery stuff under the folder msgplus2 not msgplus3 (i did a clean install and realised this)

Yes, you are right. But i think Patchou did this on purpose so that when you update from Plus! 2 to Plus! 3 you'll keep all your settings. He could have had his installer rename "msgplu2" to "msgplus3" at the begin of an install, but oh well Patchou is lazy sometimes too i guess .

Precisely. The first beta versions of 3.00 renamed the MsgPlus2 key but it created a lot of problems for some plugins and other applications that rely on Plus!.

i guess that makes sense
