To test I put CTRL+Space for both and it was allowed. Then when I tried to use it Boss Protection was enabled but Messenger Lock wasn't If you go back to the Preferences Messenger Lock was disabled.

Patchou, Messenger Plus! should check to see if specific key strokes are in use by another command and act accordingly

Na, both features can be used for different purposes. Messenger Plus! already checks your shortcuts for possible problems... if a shortcut cant be registred (already registered by another program or Plus! iteself), then Plus! removes it from the user's prefernces.. I know it's far from perfect but it works .
