O.P. Formatting Word Filters (Request)
Is it possible to format word filters so that you can see whether a word has been filtered or not? EG if sumone says S*** and it is converted to CRAP, or if they just said CRAP normally.

You can't coz filters can only be up to the same length of the word it is replacing.

RE: Formatting Word Filters (Request)
The conversion takes place before sending the message. That means that your Messenger client will always see the message that has been sent, and not the message that was typed.

If your contact has not set up filters, both the typed and sent message are the same. If your contact has set up filters, the typed message will be unfiltered and the sent message will be filtered.

So in short, this is not possible.
