yeh this has been workin fine for months on msgplus but in the last few hrs it has messed up

Maybe Microsoft is just doign some tests.. in any case, it's still working for me so I can't debug it . And note about those recommending ad-removal patches over Plus!: don't forget that the option in Plus! keeps working after Messenger updates .

I doubt it, if they wanted the ad bar to not be removable they'd protect it by law, not make it so it visually screws up. Accidents like this happen...
