how about a plugin that is similar to the custom away essages, only that it is for nicknames.
like you would type in your 5-10 favoite nicknames that you like to use then when you want to change your nickname just do it the same way you would,but a message box pops up and tell you to pick a nickname from the list or to add a new nickname.

would that be a easy plugin to do?

hm, i remember a contact on my list had a count down name...i dont remember how he did it, but it would go like...

m  a  r  i  s  s  a 
...and so on.
I would tell you how he did it if i remember, but i dont. I dont think it needs to be a new plug in made, just to find the one already made...
