A new release in early September would require the beta phase and translating phase to be completed in less than 10 days.

Well according to that, early September is in fact an accurate guess...
Just don't know if I entirely believe that Patch is gonna live up to that.

No, not yet.... but Patchou has stated many things about 3.10 already; if you look around the forum, you'll find many statements by Patchou in which he says that something is fixed/added or in which he gives a hint about a new possible feature... just search the forums...

About the date: It is true that Patchou has said that it will be begin september, after that he stated mid-september. This is normal, as there is no official deadline yet. So, unless we have a fixed date from Patchou himself, don't get your hopes too high up, but be patient. The only thing we know for sure, at this time, and if we think logicaly, is that a new version (3.10) is coming soon, and soon means between mid-september and end-october....
