O.P. website display issues with Firefox
I went to www.msgplus.net to check the latest news and noticed that is says Flash player is not installed. I'm using Mozilla Firefox and Flash works fine in other websites (it worked fine before... :S).

Also, in news, the background doesn't show correctly:

It detects if you have version 7 or higher. So maybe you don't have version 7 but version 6 or something...

Maybe because the css code:
code:
.secbox4{
    background: #CEEBF7 url('images/download_bg4.jpg') repeat-x repeat-y top left;
}
is not a valid code, thus ignored by Mozilla based browsers, thus the background previously stated in:
code:
.secbox,.secbox2,.secbox3,.secbox4,.secboxM,.secboxL{
    border:1px solid black;
    border-left-width:5px;
    background: #9ae5f8 url('images/download_bg.jpg') no-repeat top left;
    padding:5px;
}
is used

the code should be:
code:
.secbox4{
    background: #CEEBF7 url('images/download_bg4.jpg') repeat top left;
}

;)

Exceptionally, I changed it this time. However, I couldn't change allthe "repeat-x" and "repeat-y" to "repeat" as some pictures must not be repeated on the x or y axis. If you have a "mozilla" way to do it, just let me know :).

Repeat-x and repeat-y are perfectly valid in Mozilla as long as they are used separately. If you want something to repeat in both directions, just use repeat as you have done.

So you should be fine now (y)

<div class="sidebar2" style="background-image:url(images/sidebar_help_or.gif);" style="height:171;">
should be "sidebar" ;)

oh... nah... you don't have to change all the repeat-x and y's. They are perfectly valid ;) It is just that using them both together ("repeat-x repeat-y") isn't valid css, in that case it should be just "repeat".

EDIT: oops, Jeronimo said the same already.. :$

this isn't what I call an addition though.... I call it "let's reconize the invalid css and don't tell the user about the mistake he made so he thinks it is a-ok and blames it on mozilla if it doesn't work there"-addition  :p hehe

:lol: @ the quote.

A W3C standard code should be shown by all browsers equally, which it doesn't, then you can blame ones or others :D

But I wonder why are Microsoft so permissive in CSS and aren't in JS in which they yell you on every minor issue.
