O.P. The Sims Problem
When I start the sims, it goes through loading things at the title page. Once it's finished loading it just quits for no reason.

Anyone Help?

RE: The Sims Problem
Make sure your computer meets the required specifications.
Do you get any error messages?
Try updating Direct X
Try to reinstall it.
Try checking their website for patches to fix this.

Is it The Sims or The Sims2?

RE: The Sims Problem

Clean out unused files from your Hard Drive, or get more RAM.

The quickest option if you are on Windows XP and use the system restore featurem, is to  clear all but the most recent restore points. To do this, go to My Computer and right click on the C:\ Icon, select properties, click the More Options tab and click Clean Up... Under the system restore heading. Depending on your settings this will free up to 12% of your hard drive space.
Good Luck.

RE: The Sims Problem
The most probable reason are your video drivers, have you updated/changed them since the time The Sims worked? What Windows are you using? Do you have any expansion pack? Check The Sims readme file for troubleshooting.

If you update your graphics card drivers and it doesn't fix it try and download and install the graphics chipset upgrade...

Windows XP
No Expansion Packs Are Installed but I own A Few.
Checked The Readme File.

Addon:

The only thing I found was this Deluxe Crash at "Adjusting Emotional Weights"

I don't understand what readable means.
