A little question,
Does anybody know what codec is used by MSN Messenger (or the messenger protocol) to transmit the webcam/video conference picture?
I'm guessing some kind of WMV..?

Dunno, lol, now you've got me wondering...
My guess is on some kind of .asf, simply it's the most compatible for most webcams to stream data with little or no degradation in conversion, seems logical...
I would read up on the protocol, but I just gave it a quick glance and couldn't see...
As, I was thinking, if I know what codec it's encoded with, maybe I can intervene in the encoding with some filter like ffdshow, and change the webcam image alot through filters.
