Hi,

I would like to see the following improvements added to the mail notifier:

1. show an enveloppe in the tray when new mail has been notified. When you miss the message that you've got new mail you can see it at once when you see the enveloppe in the tray. You don't have to open the main screen of messenger to see that you've got mail.

2. I have 4 mailboxes that are notified. When I get mail it shows new mail (1,0,1,1). It would be nice when the name of the mailbox or mailboxes are shown instead of these numbers (which show the account number in the preferences and the number of mails). The field e-mailaddress in the preferences of msgplus (yet unused) could be changed to account name so that when mail arrives this is shown:
You have new mail:
Account (account name 1) has 1 new message
Account (account name 2) has 2 new messages
etc.

3. when I got mail in my hotmail account and press the link in the messenger main screen, the specified program for fetching mail is started instead of the browser showing the hotmail account. When hotmail mail arrives, in my case the browser should be started (like messenger normally does) and when mail arrives in the specified accounts in msgplus,  the specified mail program should be started.

I hope these features will be inplemented soon!

I couldn't argee more with the first posting.  Those improvments really do need to be made.  The multiple e-mail account checking is the main reason I have msgplus but it could be improved.

Does Patchou read these forums so that we know it will be implemented???
