O.P. Multiple accounts in one session
Ok, this might take a bit of explanation.

Basically you know when you traditionally sign in to msn you get the contact list from that account.  And you probably understand the polygamy system, where you can be signed into 2 accounts at once, but seperately.

Well howabout making it so that you can sign into additional accounts at once - Hence getting multiple contact lists on the same messenger instance - this would give a huge amount of total contact spaces available.  Obviously there could be some issues with this such as a contact being duplicated but the system could cope with this?

What do you guys think, a worthwhile addition to plus?

i don't think that its possible because it would have to be split up, and the current messenger wouldn't allow that without editing the protocol, and doing this is illegal, therefore will not be a feature of plus!

You can use a program like Trillian for this. But when you log into 2 msn accounts or more it actually cross links the contact list, adding everyone from account 1 to account 2 and vice versa

In reply to the protocol issue traxor said - I can't see how this it the case - It would be just the same as signing into two accounts except it would list both contact lists in one - Which would be useful for a few reasons dont you think?

Or am I missing something big?

Yea, this would even mean haven't more than 150 contacts on your list, which also means having to edit the protocol.

No, it wouldnt, because you would have 2 accounts signed in at the same time - Hence 150 per account!

I just reckoned it would help for stuff like group convos spanning multiple accounts - Having all contacts pooled into a list for quick addition etc.

I guess it cant be done though, shame theres legal crap in the way of a possibly really useful system :(
