My problem with msn is that ehm... when i have too many windows open or anything, it starts doing weird... then everything suddenly becomes white, and all I can see is the outlines of my conversation window, I can't see the text, i can't see the emoticons... and if i have other programs open, then they just stop... But when i turn messenger off, then i can do everything like normal, and everything works perfect... If MSN is on, my whole computer works bad... And if i shut down all the other programs when it starts doing this, then i'm already too late and even with  one window open MSN doesn't get better... I don't know what this is, but it began when i started using Messenger Plus...

I'm using msn 6.2.0137 and Messenger Plus! 3.20.100

Can anyone help me with this? cause all i can think of is uninstalling Messenger Plus! and i don't want to, unless i have no other choice... please?

You need more RAM, your system rescources are runnig out and MSN uses alot of system rescources....

Ways to cut down:
1. Less Convo Windows
2. Disable The Custom Emotions
3. Buy more RAM (Random Access Memory or them chips in your computer to you and me)
4. Use programs using lots of system resocurces less, such as MSN6, WMP10, Kazaa, etc. etc.
5. Roll back to MSN5, or WMP7, etc. etc.
6. If your on Win98, try to upgrade

Theres A way too see how much your using, but i've forgotten sorry.

This problem really doesn't have anything to do with Plus, find out how much RAM your motherboard can handle (comp manuals often contain data like that and what to buy) and get some more from a PC store and put it in your comp, it's the easiest thing you can do to make your computer run faster, and if your unsure what to do you can always ask us

Yeah, they can. But I laugh at the fact that some virus scanners can usually take up to 7200k of mem usage...And the average Trojan takes up a fraction of that...

The operating system has nothing to do with how new the PC is...in fact newer operating systems can sometimes take up more memory usage than older ones...try putting Windows XP on a computer with a 500mhz processor and you'll know what I mean...

Doesn't really make a browser take up that much memory usage, but it will help a bit...
