You know what I think would be very cool....If my name did some very simple animation in other peoples lists. 

Even something as simple as flashing.

I don't think that its possible, you can create rotating names that do the following using a certain program i forgot about:

traxor
raxort
axortr
xortra
ortrax
rtraxo
traxor

Microsoft has limited the amount of times you can change your name in a minute this the program would fail to scroll your name or do something funky with it.

I think that the new Demension 1.0 is going to have this, I will ask jon, but I'm almost positive he said that it would!

[Edit]Sorry, the last version of Demension had it, but I dont think he is going to include it in 1.0 .

you used to be able to do something like this with some of those MSN bots released for MSN 4 & 5, but they were normally very buggy and never worked.

This could be done in Plus! but it would risk to be very annoying

It would be very annoying  because, if the person had "Show when contacts change their nicks" option set, it would pop up a new window every 2 seconds. It would be cool if Plus! would have some sort of feature to filter out such nickname changes by comparing the last nickname to the new one.

Say if the old nick is:

Patchou

and the new nick is:

atchouP

then don't display the nick change toast.

You know how many filters that would need
there are loads of things possible with a nickname and if you want to filter al of them you would need to make some variable filtering thingie for it (atleast that's how i would do it if i could )

Dimension is an addon-on for msn messenger, and doesn't require plus.

Build 0034 is the current version, as version 1.0 is currently in production.
