Well, I used the wrong emote on msn, and I clicked modify, and this happened, I think that this should be fixed by putting a restrictor on it or something like there is in the add an emote window.
I apologise for the lack of detail in my post, I can't really find a way to explain it and I think the picture is self explanatory.

Yeh this is annoying also it would be much better if the plugin showed a little pic of the emoticon untill it is sent to a user as the over sized emoticons take over loads of space on the emoticon table.
