I've had messenger plus since april 2003 and the chat log system has worked perfectly until now. Every month it'd move all the chat logs from a month into a folder titled the month etc...
Well this month it hasnt worked. I've gone into my chat logs and theres no october 2004. It appears like all my logs from October 2004 have been deleted for some reason.

I dont know whats happened with my chat logs. i've tried searching for the month in search in xp hoping it'd gone missing but sadly it hasnt. I've also looked for particular chat files like all the ones to a particular address but this isnt successful either.
I read about a similar issue today: Log archive bug; apparently, the log files of October seem to have been placed in the September folder for some people.
This might be related to your problem.
