O.P. [Feat. Req] A command like /nick to change only a part of the nick
Hi!
I, and almost all of my contacts are using our nick to write some interesting information, like:
quote:
« ruso »   « a superduper information about what happened me today!... »
There are some problems when changing my nick from /nick, because I hve to copy and paste this part:
quote:
« ruso »   «
But even this is not a problem... There is a problem when I have colored (grayscale :D) nick like this:
quote:
·$25« ·#·$34ruso·# ·$25»   « some text here »
Because the only way to change it, is going to the preferences window...

So, there could be an another command, like /nickstatus to change only the "some text here" part... Obviously you could change the fixed part of your nick in Plus! preferences...

Maybe it is a some kind of plugin for that?

You could use a quick text.
For example have the quick text as:
code:
/nick ·$25« ·#·$34ruso·# ·$25»  « (!P) »
THe set that to have the shourt cut as /nickstatus
Then in a convosation window type
/nickstatus Some text here
and the will change you nick to:
·$25« ·#·$34ruso·# ·$25»   « some text here »

Edit: I forgot to put the /nick command in the code :$
