O.P. Huh?  Configuring Plus! Pop3 check with gmail.
Anyone know how to properly configure the plus! Pop3 checker with Gmail, I've tried several different ways that don't seem to be working....

It wont work at the moment because plus doesnt support SSL, which gmail needs

What's wrong with Gmail notifier? Works like a dream for me. No need to get notifications via Messenger, is there? Or am I missing something neat and obvious here??

Yes, Gmail now has pop3, so Gmail notifier is unnecessary :).

Is that still required now that gmail supports Pop3 though? :dodgy:

Gmail Pop3 requires SSL which plus does not support :).

You could always use pop goes the gmail :P

couldnt a simple plgin be made to support  SSL or does it have to be made inside the Pop3 email checker?
