remember its still a Beta an it may not function at all well, but did you reboot before you installed the new beta? it could have gotten corrupted with a previous old Plus u may still have/had on your PC,
try downloading it again but this time emptying cookies.files/history nefore hand an going to C:/Program files/MessagePlus < -- an delete that folder if its still there
