I am having a window popup about 25 times at logon before I can get to the logon screen... What does it mean?

Which os do y have ??? Any details plz.

I'm almost certain this wont work but its related so ill tell u. Yr msg sayz for line 8 rite. I Searched the entire error exactly (Value Creation Failed '' at line 8) I found a similar error (1st and 2nd results) but fo line 198. I checked it out it said try this the foll:-

boot up from your windows xp cd and go into the recovery console

(hit "R" when you see welcome to setup)

choose your os (press "1" if you only have one)

enter your administrative password

(or just hit enter)

type in
cd system32

copy userinit.exe wsaupdater.exe

exit

------- END OF SITE INFO HERE ----------

Don't try it but this is what it said on the site. Try to search on google for more.

You need to be very sure its correct before tryin things like recovery. Its really risky.
And yes Tochjo that's the page url i meant and if u'll check it out u'll find that its for line 198 not line 8 as reqd. So u never can be sure.

Well... I tried what you told me and everything is back to normal, I wonder what caused it though...

So my posted idea worked rite or u tried somethin else cause i'll try and remember this for future cause this is 1st time i saw this ???
