hi, i have just downloaded messenger 7.0 beta and noticed under "tools", billing information. I know the other versions of messenger are free and would like to know if, like the others, messenger 7.0 is also free?

MSN Messenger will stay free but in version 7 you will have the option to purchase Emoticons, Display Pictures and Theme Packs and that's what the billing info is for. MSN Messenger itself will stay free.

I think you had a chance to buy smilies and meegos (or what are they) in version 6.2 too..
