Lately , I have been witnessing problems with my MSN Messenger and Messenger Plus!. I have updated with each new version of Messenger Plus! and it doesn't seem to fix and I haven't seen it mentioned before. With that said , I can only assume that the problem is with my computer.

The first problem is that my custom names dissapear from the contact list. When I start up MSN Messenger my custom names are all visible (Every contact is colour coded by importance and gender) but after a while all I see is the contact's email. But I still see the custom name in chat windows at the top.


The second problem is my "Send an instant message" window. Like before....It appears normal at first but after a while it messes up.


I would appreciate some solutions or ideas or just a reason for the problem. Thanks ahead.

I was starting to wonder if I was the only one experiencing this problem, lol. Been happening to me for quite some time now.
Would be cool if there was some way to fix this.

If I recall correctly, that problem is the same as reported at Custome Names Showing Up as Emails In Contact List. Perhaps you can find more information there.

The second problem is most likely that skin that you are using...uninstall the skin and that should get rid of that

I'm using the same Messenger and Plus! versions as the person who started this thread, but I'm not using a skin, and I'm experiencing the same problems.

Ohh , Thanks alot Tochjo. I have been in Spain for a while and must of missed the thread. It didn't help but thanks.
