when i sign in my tabs are missing and the advertisements are gone, (im not complainin bout the advertisements),  this is getting really annoying now as its been happening alot.[/color]

What MSN Messenger version do you have? 6 or 7?

7.0 and msg plus 3.40

This is a known bug from MSN Messenger 7 beta. When I say known, I mean to us. I suppose Microsoft has been informed about this.

At the moment, I dunno what can be done. A temporary solution is to sign out and sign in until the problem is "fixed".

its normally back to normal after many resets, than of course the next day it's back

Tabs>
uncheck the disable tabs box??????

If it was the checkbox, they would never show up. Btw, that option is not there unless you patch the program.

What Happens...

with your tabs gone you may also notise missing

- Msn Today Button
- Main Window Advertisment Banner
- Conversation Window Banner
- Contact Card Customisation
         eg: spaces details and colours

Ways To Resolve This...

Although this should not ruin you messenger experience..
it is fixable by signing out, then signing back in
(continue to do so till they come back)

Why Does This Happen....
this happens presumably because microsoft networks (Msn) are fiddling around with their content servers..
