Actually, I believe that it's your computer fault's.
I suggest you restart your computer/msn to fix it...

By the way, I can also see that you have patched messenger...
Before reporting, you should disable messenger Plus! and use a clean installetion of msn.
If the bug is still there, then report

Restarting MSN fixed it so blah, it prob. won't happen again to mean (a 1/1,000,000 thing )

It might help if you delete this directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\<your name>\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger

WARNING!: All your display pics and custom emoticons and stuff will need to be re-added to MSN Messenger.

EDIT: never mind, you fixed the problem.
