howdy...i'm going to add to a new service here in portugal that has adsl 8mbps...i saw in a magazine that these new adsl services(2mb 4 and 8) are called ADSL 2.0 ...can u guys tell me if the WAG54G Router will work with it? i mean in the box of the router it doesnt say nothing about any SPECIAL adsl compatibility or incompatibility (i already use adsl)

So long as ADSL 2.0 uses the same dialling technique as older ADSL, there'll be no problems.

Anyhow, You'll just have to replace the firmware, if there is something modified from Linksys (www.linksys.com)

ADSL1 already supports speeds up to 8mbit, a bit strange to me that they already use ADSL2 for such a "simple" service.

ADSL2 support can be added trough firmware update in most routers. I think the best thing you can do is contact linksys and ask them.
Finish the problem
