O.P. IE security, net nanny?
can anyone recommend a program  to filter porn etc. so children cant look at it. can u give me the download link aswell. thanks.

if you use an ISP like AOL, they include server side filters so there is no way to bypass it, but many other isps do the same aswell, so check with your isp.

There are software solutions that do it, but these can be broken by a lot of people.

I wouln't reccoment using internet explorer's built in filters, it is very dodgy and a pain to get rid off.

I hate to say this but programs like this are easy to get around. Simply ending the startup item and restarting the PC and they are off. If you want security I noticed the other day on my linksys router then it can block websites based on keywords you put in. Quite interesting.

I will keep looking for alternates for you

i did use google but couldnt find any downloads:P need it as fast as possible so dont have to watch wt ppl are on.

thanks matty. dont matter if they are easily hacked or whatever. the person its to stop is completely blank about how to use the computers... lol

Tbh you can't force people not to view porn, only protect them from it.  If they're determined they can still get it other places.  Trust is always best :P

yea trust is gd, just wen u type in fings and porn is the undesired result. like my frend is takin reflexology and massage, type in swedish massage and the fings dat come up....well ya no...
