Thats looking pretty insane to be honest, its gotten really dodgy ... I don't think I like the Display Picture behind the icon... Its making the Contact list longer, and you'll have to use more scrolling...

I'll always go with msn messenger for its support and mesenger plus!, stuffplug etc... msn messenger is just trying to go for the 'everything else' thing, the dp in the contact list, like the aim buddy list... Its just getting everything else, its afraid of failing, which is what its doing, Plus! is pretty much holding it up...

thats true,, if it werent for Plus, ya could prolly say MSN  Messenger would or might be dead ,

i remember ICQ did the same to there client,, adding lots of unwanted features ,, people just left it an used something else, now i think ICQ has listened an is making it a smaller client an lot more friendlier to use , but with plugins you can download Manually

MSN Messenger would still be a thriving program, but they would have to steal features rather than being original.

steal features, i dont think would make M$$$ look good in court

According to creamhackered (the one that took the contact list Screenshot) from Neowin you can disable the Display Pictures in the contact list and even make appear slightly smaller.

That would seem pretty cool to me, I wouldn't have them in my contact list, I'm not sure many will, it seriously doesn't look very nice, all thats happening with msn is they are adding useful features and the file size of msn is growing...

Well I made a mistake in my post.  There is no chance of this beta getting leaked because:.... MSN Beta Butteries wont even have this beta, the only person testing this are Microsoft's Msn Messenger Team, there not taking any chances on letting this become leaked (And I dont blame them)...
