I have a suggestion for a plugin or a feature for Messenger Plus!

I once downloaded Gilly Messenger, and really enjoyed using one of its features before i uninstalled it...

The feature would allow you to create a poll, and your messenger contacts could answer by typing a command

You could choose which contacts could be asked by opening their conversation windows, and it would collect the results..for eg

Whats your favourite day for the week?

Type /1 for Monday
Type /2 for Tuesday
Type /3 for Wednesday

etc etc...

When someone would type the command the result would be recorded and would say something like

'Thankyou for voting'

I liked the feature, thought it was nifty, i'm wondering what everybody else thinks?

sounds like a good idea

could be done with a bot but im not sure about making it as a plugin

thinks its rather pointless tbh! but some may like it

how did it give they answer to you btw ??? was it just; contact 1 picked 2; contact 2 picked 3 and so on, or was it 2 people chose 1; 4 people chose 2; and so on ?

I can't remember now...it was a while ago when i used it

EDIT: Maybe it would be good if there was a window that opened once everyone had voted telling you who voted for what?

just wondered coz if it only gave contact1 chose 1; contact 2 chose 3`and so on. then theres not much point to it u mite has well just ask them yourself. eg

But what if you wish to ask a whole lot of contacts at once?

Maybe 20-30 at a time...

/all works for the current open conversation windows...
Not for all the online users in your contact list...
