O.P. Undecided  Firefox not working [Solved]
Hello...

I can't seem to be able to open firefox...

When I open it, I get this error:

---------------------------
Java Plug-in Error
---------------------------
Java Plug-in for Netscape Navigator should not be used in Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Please use Java Plug-in for Microsoft Internet Explorer instead.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

After I click OK, firefox is in the processes list but not on the task bar using over 80 % of CPU and 13 MB of ram...

I also tried running it from safe mode (safe mode of firefox not windows) but I get the same error...

What should I do?

I will try deleting my profile folder later...

start firefox with the command line to make a new profile

code:
"firefoxdir/firefox.exe" -profilemanager

oh and also check in your install folder of firefox for a folder named "plugins" rename that folder to something different then try firefox again
