Ok so I forgot my password for Messenger Plus and now i cant get into anything with my preferences for plus, any idea how i can recover my password or what i should do?

Fresh install should do it... I don't believe there's a way to retrieve the password

I suggest an uninstall....it removes everything (I could be wrong) except the chat logs.

i am pretty sure that there is no way to recover your password

if those were password protected too, than they are useless (if you forgot the password)

Search the registry, perhaps you can delete the password (doubt it though).

Also read: Tochjo's reply to Plus preference password!!!, if you don't want to lose your settings.

I'd go with the uninstall-reinstall though....if you don't have experience modifying the registry, it could be disasterous if you don't remove the right key. (Personal Experience )
