O.P. [Non-plus!-related] File transfers during chats don't show up
This is not a msnplus-related problem, rather a MS Server problem, but since this is a forum related to MSN not MSNPlus i'll ask it here.

So: when sending files during long Instant Messagging sessions, usually the transfer proposal messsage don't show up on the other side while other messages do.

I'll try to explain it better. You are chatting with MSN to a friend of your.

quote:
[...]
You > Oh! Let me show you some funny photos I found over the internet!
Friend > Mmmmmm... let's see 'em
You > [Drag 'n Drop photos.zip]
[1 minute later]
Friend > Where are those photos?
You > Why, didn't the "photos.zip" download show up?
Friend > Nope
[3 minutes later]
You > Still waiting?
Friend > Yes
You > Stupid MSN Servers!
Friend > MSN (N)(N)(N)
[10 minutes later]
Friend > Here it is!
You > At last!
Friend > D'oh! Why did you cancel it? :(
You > It must have timed out... :( (N)

As you can see, it is a rather unpleasant bug.. it seems it still shows up with the new 7.0beta version so it must be a server-sided bug... any workaround?
I didn't say it was my fault. I said I was going to blame it on you.

it happens on 6.2 too, and I doubt it's a server-side bug... :-/

maybe a firewall blocking your ip address
