O.P. Msn and media player open together??
Ok lets say i have my msn main window and my windows media player (in skin mode) open on the screen, I press the show desktop button[Image: 17zf.png] and everything moves to the taskbar, as it should.

If I then click on msn in the taskbar (or double click the icon in the tray) windows media player opens and then msn opens over the top.

Running:
Windows XP home (SP2)
Msn messenger 7.0.0425 (BETA)
Windows media player 10 (windows classic skin)

I'm not fussed about this but im just wondering if there is a way to make it stop because my msn is transparent and my custom colour contacts are hard to read with media player behind msn

Thanks

WMP10 can be set to 'Always on top', but other 'Always on top' windows can cover it. This may be the problem.

do you have an nvidia card? try clicking on the title bar of WMP and going to nView Options and uncheck Always on top.

'Tis not an nVidia-related issue, as I have an ATI card.

There is an Always on top option in the Windows Media Player options.
